"Teen Angel". 1997. Touchstone Television (for ABC).
I'd like to start off by saying that if you'll notice the picture I have at the top of this page is extremely, well, dinky. Even my own web page couldn't help me find a better "Teen Angel" pic, and that's sad. There used to be any number of good pics of the guys from "Teen Angel" out there, but I fear that they've all disappeared.
So what is there to say about "Teen Angel"? PLENTY! I loved "Teen Angel". It seemed lame at the time. Until I got into Jordan I thought it lacked. I was able to tape a number of the episodes when they were reshown during the summer (and if you have any please correspond with me, maybe we can trade or something if you have the ones I need) and I like to watch them sometimes now. I think they're funny.
"Teen Angel" ran for one season; 17 episodes. If I remember correctly it usually showed at 9:30 Eastern Time on Friday nights during TGIF.
Complaints:
1)
2) I wish we'd seen more of Jordan in the show. He was only ever on for about 5 minutes, but he was SO funny. And the wardrobe... what were they thinking? But his lines were ALWAYS good. So that's good.
OK, so they're weak complaints.
Favorite Jordan Moment: I believe it was episode 15, "Back to DePolo". But I'm not sure, it's (of course) one of the two that never re-aired. It's the episode in which they have a memorial service for Marty and Jordan reads a poem he wrote about Marty. "I once knew a dude who ate some real bad food..." I don't remember the rest. Sorry if I got it wrong.
