Night Ride Home. 1999. Hallmark Hall of Fame. PG.

'Night Ride Home' originally aired on CBS on February 7, 1999. It can now be found at almost any Hallmark Gold Crown store, and if they don't have it in stock, I think you can ask them to order it, but don't hold me to that. It costs less than $20.00, but not much less. Something like $17.95. I don't quite recall.

I taped the film when it originally aired on CBS, and for a while only ever watched those first 15 minutes with Jordan in it. Then I reached a point where I decided I really needed to see the rest of the film if I were to make a valid criticism of it. So...

The movie as it revolves around Jordan is about Simon (played by Jordan), who loves to ride horses. One afternoon he goes out riding with his sister Clea and gets bucked over the horse and dies. The rest of the movie is about his family's trying to overcome the tragedy. It was very well put together (although I liked 'What the Deaf Man Heard' better), and Jordan did a very good job, even if it was only for 13 and a half minutes.

Things I know:

1) Jordan had to learn to horseback ride for the role.

2) The film was shot outside of Portland, Oregon.

And the award goes to...

Jordan, for how good he looked. This is becoming redundant.
